They Grow Up So Fast

I love going to the coast-the smell, the stickiness, the sand, the breeze, the lazy feeling of the place, the shoes optional attitude, just everything! I don't mind being covered in a several layers of salt and sand. The beach is my favorite place on Earth. I don't have a beach house yet, but we are lucky to live close enough to go whenever we want.
I think these little houses are so stinkin' cute! My beach house will be pink for sure:

Maybe that's why I don't have one yet...I'm thinkin' DH would not be happy about living in a pink house.

Sailboat Races

My creative and talented husband helped the kids build sailboats:

Each kid spent hours on the design and construction of their boat. Then it was off to the races:

The boat with the pink A&M sail was the winner. It's moving so fast you can barely even see it:

We always have a front row seat at the parade. It helps when you live along the parade route. It's always a party in the yard.We usually wind up getting wet from water balloons or water guns. This year we were ready to fight back. Maybe we need a little more power next year:
